The Kirloskar KG4-250WS1 is a 250 kVA (200 kW) prime-rated diesel generating set built to CPCB IV+ emission norms, for plants and installations carrying substantial working load.
It runs a six-cylinder 6SL90ETA 4G2 engine of 8.86 litres, turbocharged and after-cooled, at 1500 rpm with common rail direct injection. The larger displacement is what lets the set absorb sudden load steps without frequency dipping, which matters where motors start across the line.
Exhaust after-treatment uses DOC and SCR with DEF dosing. The set is supplied in an acoustic canopy rated below 75 dBA at one metre, with a 600 litre fuel tank, 45 litre DEF tank and a radiator tested for 50 degrees Celsius ambient. The KG745 controller covers instrumentation, protection and AMF.
As with every set we supply, the rating is confirmed against a load study first, and installation, commissioning and ongoing service are handled locally.
